Pilch or Pilchers - $10.00 to 12.00
In the 18th C. the pilch would have been made of wool for absorbency (rubber pants!) I have made them of cotton. The picture shown has a waistband and button closure. That places the date later in the 18th C. I have an earlier style as well with cotton twill tape ties and a loop for tying around the waist. They are also made of 100 % cotton. These would be the diapers. When it is hot outside these provide a way to cover the pampers and still be period correct!

Infant long clothes - $70.00
I make this set of long clothes in a size 18 mo. Sizes are much smaller in the 18th C.and this allows for more grow time. The dress is made for day wear and the frock and shirt are for night wear. The shirt has soft cotton ties for closure. When the child starts to crawl they would "short clothe" them and put them in shifts. They are made of 100% cotton or linen upon request. This is sold as a set.

Pin Cloth - $15.00
The pin cloth is worn over a simple cotton shift just like an apron. The pin cloth has a cotton string sewn into the arm hole for strength and has 2 2" grow tucks for a growing child and longer wear. It has a drawstring neckline and ties in the back. A great way to keep that shift clean!

Shifts - $15.00
The infant and toddler shift is just like ours! They are made of 100% cotton and have underarm gussets. They have long sleeves which have a drawstring at the wrist. They also have 2 2' grow tucks at the hem to allow for growth. We make them in white, checked and solid colors. Add a pin cloth for a cute outfit.

This style is for the the 1800's. I have made it with draw stings at the sleeves, chest and neckline. It will fit for a long time! The dress and pinafore have multiple grow tucks that can be let out as she grows taller! Made with 100% cotton.
